Formula 1 Motorsport Morning at Kylemore Karting for Our Lady’s Childrens Hospital, Crumlin  

Kylemore Karting and Motorsport.ie are excited to announce that they are teaming up with former Irish Formula 1 driver, Derek Daly and John Campion, an American based Irish entrepreneur. On Thursday, August 15, Campion and Daly will bring Daly’s 1981 F1 Guinness/Rizzla March 811 car to Kylemore Karting in support of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin (OLCHC)  

Campion is a benefactor to OLCHC and patients from the hospital have been invited for a fun and engaging motorsport morning at Kylemore Karting. The children will have the opportunity to get pictures taken with Daly and the F1 car, before putting their own driving skills to test as they trade the car for karts, and enjoy a race across Kylemore’s tracks. Campion, a survivor of Leukaemia, will speak to the children about his experience in battling the illness, a topic he is very passionate about. Campion will kindly donate €10k to the OLCHC.   

Daly’s car will be at the Historical Car Festival at Mondello Park, on August 17th and 18th.
