Our fully trained race team, industry leading karts and equipment and clever track designs allow us offer a safe and enjoyable karting experience for kids 9 years+ and over 137cm.
JUNIOR KARTS AND RACING GEAR
Here at Kylemore Karting we use industry leader Sodi Karts and their Sodi Junior LR5 karts. They are suitable for children aged 9+ and above the height of 137cm (4ft 6in). The engines are smaller than our adult karts and therefore less powerful, which allows kids to have more control over the kart when driving around the track. We provide helmets, race jackets and suits in a variety of sizes to suit all drivers.
SAFETY FIRST
Our karts and tracks are built with safety at the forefront of design. Prior to racing all drivers must watch a mandatory comprehensive safety briefing. This will explain how to drive our karts, the rules of the track and all the safety measures drivers should take into consideration. The video recaps all instructions and rules including all the flags and lights, to help engrain our safety concepts. As each driver enters the pit lane, our race team will ensure that all drivers are equipped with the correct safety gear, all helmets are fastened correctly before recapping all of the flags/lights and safety measures along with ensuring they are comfortable in the kart itself. Our trained race team ensure track rules are met to ensure safe fun racing.
FUN FOR ALL
Our Speed Screens allow parents to keep up to date with the track action and results while they relax in the Mondello Lounge – where tea and coffee is available from the Coffee Stop and seated views of the track. There are also plenty of opportunities to snap some pics from track level, from above on the walk-way or after the race at our podium presentation.
RACING WITH CONFIDENCE
Our marshal team spare no details of safety, which gives parents the reassurance that this is a great activity for their kids with lots of safety measures and protection involved. Prior driving experience is not necessary. Our ‘Safety is Our Priority’ briefing video will explain everything about driving the kart in its simplest form. Upon preparing to take to the track, our race team will recap the safety briefing and will always make sure that everyone is ready for a memorable experience.

Our main racing track likened to the famous Belgian Formula 1 track, Spa Fransorchamps, for it's fast speeds and challenging corners. Track 1 has an acute mix of banked corners, hills, chicanes and hairpins but is most loved for it's 70m back straight.
