This Privacy Policy covers our handling of personally identifiable information that we may collect when you are on the website, and when you visit our Karting Centre. 

What information do we collect? 

Kylemore Karting is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.  We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any 3rd parties (others) in any way that varies from what is disclosed in this statement. Kylemore Karting collects information from users at different areas of our website and when you connect to our free WiFi service on-site. You may receive information regarding new features, services and special offers that we think you’ll find valuable.  Only users that explicitly consent to this service, will receive updates and special offers from Kylemore Karting. Users will be required to provide their name, email address, phone number. This information is necessary in order for us to contact users about services on our site for which they have expressed interest in.  

All racers will be required to disclose the following details; name, address, contact number and email, and age.  This information is collected when you complete the Indemnity Form which we are legally required to gather for attendance purposes.  

How do we use your personal data? 

Our email subscribers, may receive information regarding new features, competitions and exclusive subscriber offers that we think you’ll find valuable.  

In addition to the specific purposes outlined above, we may process your personal data set out in the prior section, where necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. 

Retaining and Deleting your personal data? 

Personal data that we process will not be kept for longer than is necessary or to satisfy legal requirements.  Different retention periods apply for different types of data, however the longest we will normally hold any personal data is 5 years.  

Kylemore Karting stores customer data for email marketing and communication purposes. Only customers that explicitly consent to marketing communications should receive communications from Kylemore Karting. Customer data will be held for up to 5 years. There is always an unsubscribe option on all email communication. 

We retain your personal data for legal reasons. All drivers will be required to provide; name, address, contact number and email, and age prior to racing. This data is solely stored for legal reasons and you will not be contacted with email communications, unless you explicitly consent to.  We hold this information for a period of 3 years.

Do you share my information?  

We do not share or sell your information with any third party.   

However it may be necessary to share your information with third-party business partners to assist in our daily operations. Third party business partners will be given limited access to your relevant information, and we will require that such third parties comply with this Privacy Policy, and/or operate under a similar privacy policy. 

Our third-party business partners includes insurers, booking system and payment services providers. This could be to obtain or maintain insurance coverage , for the purposes of processing your payments, or for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject to.

Payments 

We use a credit card processing company to process all card payments. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. We value your privacy at Kylemore Karting and will never release any account information to anyone outside of the necessary core groups that help our business function unless our customers give us the authority to do so. 

Financial card transactions are handled by our payment services providers, Stripe, and Elavon. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
